Roni Barak Ventura is an Assistant Professor at the School of Applied Engineering and Technology, New Jersey Institute of Technology. She received a BSc in Biology from the University of Rochester in 2014 and a MSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from New York University in 2017 and 2021, respectively. Between 2021 and 2023, she served as a Science Analyst in the Directorate for Engineering at the National Science Foundation. She is a member of the Regional Gun Violence Research Consortium. Her research interests include quantitative policy evaluation, causal inference, time series analysis, and human behavior.
