Munazzah’s professional and academic experience in the social services field stems from her previous role in case management as a Support Coordinator for the Department of Developmental Disabilities, as well as her academic background as a Rutgers alumna. She earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master’s degrees from the Rutgers School of Social Work as an advanced standing student. Through internships and volunteer work, Munazzah has actively participated in community engagement with local nonprofit organizations in Newark, NJ. Her background in coordination, strong collaborative skills, people-centered approach, and cultural awareness have shaped her into a skilled and effective communicator.

In her work, Munazzah has contributed to neighborhood beautification efforts, community empowerment initiatives, and public safety projects, demonstrating her role as a committed advocate for the needs of marginalized populations, including unhoused individuals, individuals affected by substance use, and at-risk youth. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Munazzah remains deeply connected to the city through her family and upbringing.
