Minyoung Lee is a Ph.D. student in the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University-Newark. She holds a Master of Science in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ewha Womans University in South Korea. Her research interests center on corrections and prison systems, with a growing focus on reentry, place-based interventions, policing, and public safety. Prior to joining Rutgers, she worked as a research coordinator at Drexel University, where she contributed as a project manager to the evaluation of the City of Philadelphia Criminal and Juvenile Justice Debt Relief Program. Her work draws on interdisciplinary perspectives to inform effective approaches to the criminal justice system and community outcomes.
